The stock in Tally never matches the shelf
The accounts are in Tally. The real stock sits in Excel sheets and in people's heads, so when a customer asks for an item, nobody is quite sure it is there.
An order is typed three times
It is agreed on WhatsApp, written into a quotation sheet, and typed again into Tally when it is time to invoice.
GST work waits for month end
E-invoices and e-way bills are made one at a time on the portal, and someone checks the returns line by line.

You tell us how an order moves through your business today and where it goes wrong. We write it up and send it back so you can correct us.

Scope, price, dates and payment milestones in one document. Nothing is added later without your written yes.

Build and import on a test copy
We set up Odoo with your products, parties and opening stock. You check the numbers against your Tally books before anything goes live.

Train, test, go live
We train your staff, test the backup, switch over on a date you choose, and stay close for the first two weeks.

A written scope. Payments that follow your sign-off.
Before any work starts you get one document with the scope, the price, the dates and what is not included. You pay in three steps, and the last one comes at go-live, not before.

Questions owners ask us
Something not answered here? Ask us. We reply on working days, usually within one working day.
Do we have to stop using Tally?
Not on day one. It is common to run both for a short while, to check that the numbers agree. We plan the switch with you and your accountant, and we do not ask you to drop Tally until you are comfortable.
Which edition of Odoo do you use?
Odoo has a free Community edition and a paid Enterprise edition. Most small businesses can start on Community, which has no licence fee. It does not come with the reports an accountant expects, so we add tested open-source ones: trial balance, aged receivables, balance sheet, profit and loss and bank reconciliation. If you would rather have Odoo's own reports from the paid edition, we tell you what Enterprise costs per user before you decide.
Can you file our GST returns?
No. Your CA files them, as most small traders already do with Tally. We prepare the invoices, tax registers and exports your CA needs. If you want a tool that prepares the return files, we test a paid add-on with you before you buy.
What does it cost?
A fixed price, quoted after a 20-minute call and a short written scope. We do not publish a price list yet because every business has a different number of users, items and godowns.
Where will our data live?
We prefer hosting that you own, such as your own cloud account or server, so you stay in control and can move at any time. If you want us to host it, we say so in the proposal and agree the terms in writing.
Are you an official Odoo partner?
No. Codzodd Technologies is an independent company that implements Odoo. We will not claim a partner status we do not hold.
